Brilliant
From above it looks round and has 57 facets, 33 on the crown and 24 on the butt. It is the favorite for revealing the maximum brilliance of the gemstone.
Marquise
The most unusual cut for a diamond. Its particularity: its oval shape narrows on both sides and ends in a point.
Pera
It has one round end and one sharp end. Its history dates back to the 15th century thanks to the invention of a diamond polishing machine.
Esmerald
Rectangular, of great clarity and brightness lower than the brilliant one, it is distinguished by the three concentric rows at its ends.
Oval
The oval cut diamond has been around for hundreds of years, but the modern version appeared in 1957, when a sophisticated cutting technique was developed to bring out the best in the stones.
Heart
Its name already says it: it is heart-shaped. The curious thing about this carving is the great skill it requires from the carver.
Radiant
In 70 facets, it combines the brilliance of the brilliant with the elegance of the emerald cut. And that's because it maximizes brilliance and fire (rainbow flashes).
Princess
It is the square version of the brilliant. This carving usually has 76 facets, but in 2013 a new design was registered that reaches 129.
