Patek Philippe does not hesitate to combine different complications in a single piece, as in the case of model 5935A-001, which features the combination of a flyback chronograph with a universal time.
The Geneva-based Patek Philippe manufacture is world renowned for its unquestionable mastery in the production of watch pieces with highly complex combinations. A clear example of this is the reference 5935A-001, which combines two of the greatest watchmaking complications: the automatic flyback chronograph and universal time.
This is the first steel version of one of Patek Philippe's classic models, which stands out above all for its mix of sporty and vintage styles. The dial is opaline in rose gold and has a motif in the centre of the dial that adds modernity and dynamism to the piece.
The applied anthracite-coloured gold indexes contrast with a luminescent coating that allows you to read the time in the dark. The steel case has a diameter of 41 mm and a thickness of 12.75 mm.
This design is delivered with two calfskin straps: grained taupe and beige with a nubuck finish. The names of the cities representing the 24 time zones are indicated on the outside of the dial, and an exclusive patented mechanism allows all indications to be corrected by simply pressing the pusher at 10 o'clock. The chronograph hand is located in the centre of the dial.
Inside we find a self-winding mechanical movement, calibre CH28-520HU, visible through the sapphire crystal case back. This model is water-resistant to a depth of 30 metres.
