Clarity

The degree of purity is determined by: the number, size, color and position of its external or internal inclusions, using a 10x magnifying glass.

These inclusions are traces that nature leaves on the diamond in its crystallization process.

The GIA scale that determines the degree of purity of a diamond is divided into 11 grades ranging from the highest degree of purity (FL or Flawless) to grade I (inclusions visible to the naked eye).

Truly pure diamonds are very rare, most diamonds have natural inclusions that are imperceptible to the naked eye.

In the case of Suarez diamonds, the purity is among the highest on the scale, from IF, pure diamonds without any type of inclusion inside; up to SI1, which may have small inclusions imperceptible to the naked eye. In these cases, the diamonds that are accepted have the imperfections in a non-visible area and are never black.
